Minting

What it is

Minting turns a published design into editions: real things you can wear, put down, sell at your stall or trade, each with your name on it.

What it costs

Nothing. Publishing the version is what costs Voxels; minting it is free.

How to mint

1. Publish your design first. Only published versions can be minted.
2. Open your bag and click the design.
3. Choose how many editions: anything from 1 to 10,000,000.
4. Press MINT. The editions land in your bag.

Once, so rares stay rare

A design is minted once. The number you pick is all there will ever be: mint ten and there are ten, for good. That's what makes a small edition worth having.

Good to know

• Editions show the newest version you publish, so you can keep improving a design after it's out.
• The eggox CLI can mint a version you've already published in the game.
